Shit I feel damn irritated now! Some ppl are really making me feel damn uncomfortable lah! I can't take it mans!!! Oh man...I keep getting myself into unnecessary trouble! Anyway dun wanna talk abt it anymore!

Sat was damn sad! Our team performed quite badly, coming out of so many events with only a 3rd place medal for our K2 category by Jun Han n Collin! After chilling with the seniors for awhile, i finally went home! So at night was watching anime when all of a sudden i received a call from Chin Koon telling me dat one of the 5 dragon boaters hu capsized in Cambodia was my classmate, Wei Zheng! Omg i became so scared n tried to find the newspaper article that he read from the Internet! Couldn't find so i went all the way to the cheers at Jurong East Central! N tis is wad i saw on the paper!!!

For those hu do not know, the guy wearing green is actually my classmate n he was reported as one of the 5 missing dragonboaters in cambodia! I became worried n tried calling him, but he did not pick up so i sent him a text message! Thank god he replied it like 15 mins later! In actual fact, the newspaper had printed the guy's name n pic wrongly n somehow mistook the victim for my friend! Wad a stupid mistake to make!

Den on Sunday went for Cher's training! N once again after such a long time...i am the only junior to go for training! Quite sad lah since the rest of the seniors take T2 except for Jia Jun hu took K1. Cos of this i ended up like lagging behind the rest most of the time! Anyway i am glad that i went for training as i kinda experienced a small part of how the marathon this sunday might feel!!

So after training went to suntec with the seniors! After eating KFC, we went up to Donut Factory. Me n Chin Koon went ova to Ben & Jerry's before that to find Shu Hui hu was as good as blind as she did not notice us standing there until like 15mins later!!! So after hanging out with the seniors for awhile, me n Chin Koon left early cos he wanted to go pick Sheena up from work n he dragged me along so dat he wun feel bored waiting for her -__-

So we took a bus to Holland V n waited at Starbucks for her to end work! Before she left, she was kind enuf to get me a cup of Mocha unlike dat stupid Chin Koon hu asked her to get me a cup of tap water!!! So yea went home n yea...

Mon training changed to tue again so waited with the polo guys n fals till their training started before going home! Many interesting things happened on that (: Today had class as per normal before going for training! Had a briefing from Alvin dat helped prepared us mentally for the marathon! It was really helpful i guess n i hope that i will not give in to the mental strategies of others as well!

Lets see! Tues went for land training! Had a very exciting run wad with the competition between NACC n SPC n all! But I guess it was quite good to have some competition as motivation! After training joined the polo gals with Alvin n Chin Koon for dinner at the Taiwan Porridge stall! My favourite sia! Despite having a hungry female  ghost sit next to me...I still felt abit awkward to have eaten to my fullest potential... (:

Wed after classes went down to Kallang to row! Rushed down immediately after class n managed to meet the rest before they headed down to row! Changed quickly before heading out! After launching, jus did a few bursts n sprints while waiting for the rest to come! We den did sprints n tried improving on our burst! Learnt a few "distraction" tactics as well but I'm glad that I have been trying to improve on my maintenance strokes as the seniors say that having more efficient maintenance strokes is an advantage when rowing at Seletar Reservoir! After rowing for abt 1 1/2 hour, it started to get so we decided to head back!

It was my first time rowing at night n it was kinda an interesting experience! Although it can get dangerous if u are alone as it is nearly impossible to spot any rowers in the dark, i guess it is still damn cool n wouldn't mind doing it more often! After dat jus washed up n headed back home! Since race is tis sat, we get to bring back our paddles! I bet i looked damn cool carrying the paddle on the train but it kinda was a hassle since the paddle was too long to stand upright so i had to enter the train holding it slanted!

Today even more exciting sia! After classes in the morning, went to Alumni with Tuan Jiaw n Ce Ya to have our lunch. On the way there TJ received a call from his fren saying that Felicia Chin at Canteen 1...ask us go there. But since we already at Alumni n it was empty, decided to eat there! During our meal, TJ received abt 6 calls from many ppl telling him abt Felicia! SO after lunch we went to can 1 to find out classmates! The first thing they hao lian to us was dat they took pic with her! So being jealous n all, we tried to take pic with her as well but jus nice they were gonna go to can 4 oredi so we went back to class! After our test, me, TJ, Glenn n Ephraim went ova to canteen 4 n finally got our chance to take some photos with her! WOO HOO! Wah she damn damn funny sia! While she taking photos, the television was jus nice showing this program of her, n suay suay  that character she acting dress until damn ugly sia! Den she pai seh n after more embarrassing stuff came out, she tried to attract everyone's attention back to photo taking!

Be there or be square! After selections on sat n sun...i will be representing NACC for the RP Invitationals this coming saturday! Will be competing in the POLITE T1 category! Although it is most likely that the competitors are year 1 polytechnic students as well...i am unsure of their standards n dare not underestimate them! Really hope that the juniors can perform well n the seniors can perform better! Anyway this is my first race so regardless of the results, be it negative or positive, it would be a chance for me to use the standards of all the other schools as a guide to help myself improve further!

Anyway after training on sun, went to eat with my seniors before chilling with them at Rocky masters! Had lotsa cock fun there...n they even tried to relieve me of my box of donuts! When we finally left, took 56 with Lawrence to Toa Payoh as i was going my uncle's house! Shared the donuts there n went with my cousins to watch Stardust! It is seriously a damn nice movie to watch!!! Hopefully my dad buys the dvd yea...

Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?

Jus came back from school! Today had lessons as usual n ate at Macs with the AE dudes/dudettes! After classes went to meet up the my team for Porject Nutz...yes, i joined project Nutz! Say Bel, Jun Han, Jeremy n Alfred in the gym! So i changed n den joined them at the gym, doing some light weights while waiting for the rest! Soon my team, consisting of me, jia jun, jun han, jeremy, bel, fang hui n ethan, all arrived n we when for Project Nutz!

i guess we did wuite well n the end reults of the race was satisfactory! However sad to say that the whole event itself was seriously disapointing! By right Brian's team got 4th while our team got 5th, lagging behing by jus a few seconds! However due to some cock up with the whole thing, our team seems to either have been mistaken for another team or have not been properly marked as the 5th team to come in! So in the end we did not receive any trophy! Seriously i am dissapointed with it all. I gave it my best n was so happy to have come in 5th...n yet things were all screwed up jus like dat! N to make things worse...the freaking ppl from SDAR jus refuse to check things out immediately, insisting on giving us a reply only on monday....

Anyway now i seriously dun feel like wasting my time thinking abt them...anyway went to mac with the runners from Project Nutz, including those form the other team to eat! In the end i bought a whole chicken n sushi n a big packet of nutrisoy n stuffed myself!

Today has been pretty much a weird day for me! Came across a couple of awkward stuff! Most weird one is my mum suddenly said some very weird stuff abt me during dinner! Hafta go talk to my "dearly beloved" cousin liao...i think she might have said some stuff abt me to my mom! RUBY u better watch out!!!

Training yesterday was another one of those managed to train efficiently types! Maybe cos got lesser ppl yea! After training hung out at Mac with Lawrence, Bel n Jun Han. Mostly chatted abt the sprinters n all! Talking to them makes me feel that i should really start to be even more serious for my sea slots! During this time last year most of the seniors were already trying to pace seniors...n yet i can't even keep up with a few of my fellow juniors...well i guess i'll hafta really put more effort into my strokes as Jun Han says! RP invitationals, Marina Marathon, Round Ubin Marathon...a couple of big events yet so little time to train!!!

lets see...haven done any blogging or such since thursday! Since public holiday, met up with the J12 guys + a few other friends to play soccer in school. I arrived 1/2 hour late but was still early cos only Tuan Jiaw n Markus there. Luckily...actually didnt go there to play, jus to hang out with the guys but in the end oso they coaxed me to play! I feel i played quite well. Started off quite badly but from the 3rd game on, i kinda played quite well oredi i guess :)

Oh yea...half way while playing, some year 3 student asked for help as he needed extras for a video he is making...so in the end me, eugene, jason n two of Ze An frens acted in one of the scenes...hopefully the video wun be publicly shown or else super pai seh since i acted so terribly!After the game ate with the guys at Al Azhar before hitching a ride to IMM with Yue Hao brother. damn funny lah, they actually got lost at lorong kismis that area there but thanks to my knowledge in the area, i was able to safely get us back to Jurong! Bought my new ear phones before heading home!

Friday pretty much a short day. Went for class, had lunch at BTP KFC, went back home. Oh yea, after lunch at BTM, me Tuan Jiaw, Jacq n Ainiah bought Rasberries to eat...damn nice lah! I oso bought a bottle of Choya (some jap wine) but not nice so i drank abt 1/5 of it n threw it away...anyway after drinking Tequila, i guess nuthin i ever tried is nicer than that! Compro both ainiah n ceya nvr come...first time so it feels abit weird as without them like suddenly very quiet with me n jac sitting alone behind! Ainiah oso very weird sia, come morning nvr come class, den afternoon come join us for lunch, but after lunch since no lappie so went back home -__-

Saturday as usual went for training. When i arrived, there were only juniors present n we kinda did not know wad to do. So to get the mood going we conducted some light warm up on our own. We were abt to head out for our morning "Training" stroll when we saw Jun Han arriving! However hu knows dat he did not have the shed key as well so we were still stuck. In the end we were deciding on where to go instead of training n considered watcing a movie, eat seoul garden etc... Lols! Thank god Ethan, Jia Jun, colin they all came after helping out with some dragon boat race over at SCF! Training was quite slack. Mostly did short sprints n burst! Oh yea, while paddling halfway, i saw something damn amazing! I actually saw a dragon boat capsized! It was racing halfway when dunno for wad reason capsized! Damn stupid lah...hu caps on a dragon boat sia!

After training ended, i went to help them with the dragon boat thing as they were short of ppl n we were gonna get paid for it! So we had to row the dragon boats back to SDBA from SCF! Actually quite cool lor...8 of us rowed 3 10-men dragon boats tied side by side! Den after that the remaining three boats we split up into 2 person per boat n rowed back the remaining boats! Damn cool lah rowing the dragon boat with jus 2 person! So after that we had to carry n pull n lug the 6 dragon boats back to their shed along with all the heads n tails n drums n stuff!

When it all ended we went to Suntec to eat before going to Rocky Masters to chill! When we were leaving played a prank on Gray, we took his box of 12 donuts from donut factory n left the shop while he was sleeping! Den we called him n told him we left oredi! Super funny lah! Went to Marina to use toilet (cos i drank like 3 cups of tea) n browse thru some clothes before headed home!

Today went for training again! Saw Bel at Jurong East Station totally engrossed in a book so decided to play a prank with her too. So i walked over n sat beside her! Then i slowly moved my face in beside her to read her book! When she finally realised i was beside er, her reaction super funny lah! She supposedly said that she thaught it was some mad person n raised her book n wanted to hit me! But from my point of view, it looked more like she was scared n shocked! Anyway no matter wad her reaction was super funny! lol...We were late but did not start runing until we were like 50 meters away from SDBA! Haha...slackers

We finally did sprints today! Warm up with pretty tiring n i did not do so well! But after that we did sprints. 2 x 500m, 2 x 400m, 2 x 300m n after all that, we back paddled abt 1000m i guess for cool down. Although it felt good to be finally doing sprints after such a long time, but my muscles are like toally aching! Some more i still did super abs at home the day before! After trainig we did jumping jacks + sets + medicine ball before training ended! I jus saw one of the most disgusting thing ever today!

We happened to see NPDB's new boats! It colected water all the way to the top. N inside was hundreds, maybe thousands of tadpoles swimming around. Furthermore there were some mosquito larvae in the water n mosquitoes as well! We oso found a snail inside the boat! N this is only one small portion of the boat only! Hu knows wad other creepy crawlies lay hidden within the boat! Maybe Ngee Ann is jus cursed as we found some maggots in our training shed as well! Yucks!!! After bathing we went to Suntec to eat! After eating we went over to Nike to source for a new team singlet to no avail! Over there saw a couple of stuff i wanted to buy! Hopefully can find a job soon n get it all!

Went home after that! Anyway i finished the bleah episodes already! Now have to wait for the weely release of the episodes! Sianz....Nvm, liddat oso better! at least i can concentrate during my classes n do all the work that is due very soon! Ok i guess i crapped too much for today! Was late for school today,,,stupid bus! CAEM was interesting, halfway thru the class we had a break n went to co-op. Jus nice we saw CKY n asked her to come to class with us since she was 1 hr early. At first she refused but we dragged her in to the class nonetheless! Sat with her n same as jac, she took pleasure in decorating my lecture notes with doodles! But thanks for helping me to copy down the notes SIS...After class ended, i decided to be the nice BRO n help CKY ask Alvin for his number. So i took her fone n told him she wanted his number, n he gave it! CKY, no matter how u may pretend to be angry with me...i know deep down u jus wanna say thank you to me!

For lunch i went to KAP with Ce Ya n Tuna Jiaw. Took our time there looking at girls, especially the 2 girls sitting outside jus opposite us from the glass window! After that we had EECAD. That was one hell of a frustrating lesson sia. Spent more than 1/2 an hour adjusting my PCB so that i can route the airwires properly...After finished was AEL tutorial. I really feel that our AEL lecturer is damn funny lah. Today Tuan Jiaw asked him wad he was gonna do for deepavalli. N he said he gonna look for his indian friend! Den after ahile he told us dat tonight he was gonna jump on the fire! Hahaa....wad a stupid joker!

After class went for training! Started off with a campus run at very slow pace...did 4 sets of 15 pull ups n den it was jus games for us. Had the choice of playing basketball or soccer, so i went to join the soccerers, though i did not play. Should havewent to d gym with jia jun...more fruitfull! :) Went to BTM market to eat with everyone else but me, Alvin, Jia Jun n Eric sat alone together since the usual place where we sit no more space! while eating, Shun Li came over n gave me a small card saying To Alex, From Teck Sheng (though it was from her -__-) In it was a flyer saying... Went for Regatta finals today. For the semi finals we jus managed to enter plate finals by getting 3rd for the race. However for our plate finals we got 4th place, barely losing to SPC by 0.1 seconds. Although that 0.1 seconds decided that we shld not get any medals, i felt that we did great as we actually made our way all the way to the finals! We may have been dissatisfied with the outcome but we, Ngee Ann Canoeing Club, have left our mark there n we intend to come back next year to prove to everyone that we can do it!!!






After the event ended, we headed to Park Mall to have team dinner at Fish and Co. Had lots of fun down there. We even celebrated Jia Jun's birthday like 10 days in advance cos celebrating ur birthday at Fish n Co is super fun...after dinner we all headed home. In the end left me, Eric, Darren n Corrine. The 4 of us took the train together. We did some very stupid antics on the train...at every stop from Raffles Place to clementi, we will put our hands together n cheer for ourselves: Juniors....KIYAH!!!. But the ultimate one came at clementi when we REALLY shouted KIYAH super loudly. Super pai seh sia...

Went for the 25th Singapore River Regatta 2007 today. Met up with the sprinters at City Hall MRT. Went to Raffles Place Subway to have our lunch before walking over to the Singapore River. So the juniors took some pics before it was time to get ready for the race. The team took their position on the boat n headed off. They actually waited for abt 5-10 mins before their race started. Despite the fact that i was not rowing, being the Team Manager, i actually was as tired as the rowers. Cos in order to take pictures of the rowers, i had to run to keep up with them.

So first i took a couple of shots while they were boarding the boat n lunching off. Then i ran along with them as they rowed while snapping a couple of shots at the same time. Finally when they reached the waiting zone, i took a cuple of shots before running to the other side of the river to get a better view. Then i waited at the starting line for the boats to line up. Snapped a couple of shots before running to about 3/4 of the race distance. Took a video of them rowing n when they nearly reached me, i ran the remaining 1/4 of the distance in order to take the video of them at the finishing line. Then i ran back to the other side of the river to take some shots of them getting off the boat. Soon after i ran to the nearby 7-11 to get drinks for them.

It was seriously tiring but i guess it was all worth it as we managed to qualify for the semi finals. For our race against Canadian Association, Dubai Flying Dragons and Austcham, we managed to come in 2nd, with a timing of 1.28.05. Although we barely made it, being ahead of the 3rd boat by 0.9 secs, but it was still a victory nonetheless. However needless to say, if we want to win in the finals tomorrow, we sure as hell have to give it our best n row until we drop.
